JSKA Canada was formed in October 2001 by Sensei Frank Corbett.
The purpose of JSKA Canada is simple, research and train in traditionl Shotokan Karate-Do as taught by Sensei Abe 8th Dan JKA, without the political restrictions that hinder many of today's karate organizations.
Our philosophy is as follows
- Rediscover the true nature of Funakoshi Sensei's karate-do.
- Follow and put into practice the dojo kun and it's precepts.
