O'Sensei Funakoshi's wish, was that the world around him would recognize his Karate as a Do form. His life was living proof that it was so.

Now we as Shotokan students must keep his wish alive. We must embrace and never omit the Budo ideals of Compassion, Manners and Etiquette within our wonderful Art form. Focusing on and practicing these ways is our way of saying Thank-You to those who have gone before.
